ABOUT ERZSEKE
Erzseke has been creating art for as long as she has been alive. Growing up with an artist for a mother, she was greatly influenced in her formative years on the importance of learning traditional art forms and expanding from that. As a child and into her adult life, she has always been greatly fascinated with people and the stories of their lives, each person having a unique story of their own that she sought to know. Her mother tirelessly encouraged her to paint; however it wasn’t until her adult years after being gifted a set of acrylic paints, that her paintings evolved into colorful, unique masterpieces.
Erzseke was formally trained in the arts while at Texas Christian University receiving a Bachelors of Science in Fashion Merchandising and a Minor in Fine Arts.
Erzseke’s paintings are meant to capture people and their unique stories, which creates a piece of art that embodies the essence of her subject. Most recently she has been working on commissioned portrait pieces that are influenced by her native Texan roots and western art.
With the use of mixed media, resin, and brightly colored acrylic paints, she creates paintings that bring life back to their owners from the memory of a parent, relative, hero, or someone who brings a smile to their face.
